Meet Rose
I grew up in a small rural Pennsylvania town of about 9,000 people called Warren, Pa. Warren is a beautiful historical country town in the Alleghany National Forest. Life in Warren was very simple. I spent much of my childhood riding bikes with friends, playing in the backyard, and going swimming in the local lakes and rivers. We had a garden growing up, and some of my favorite memories as a child were just sitting with my siblings and picking and eating berries in the backyard. Growing up this way has really shaped me into loving and appreciating nature and just enjoying experiences and simplicity in daily life.
While both my husband I are both from Pennsylvania, my husband had previously lived in Bellingham for several years. In 2020 my husband, myself, and our daughter moved out to Bellingham to be closer to family, and it has been the best decision for us! We have had several personal and professional growth opportunities here in Bellingham. Before becoming a realtor in 2024, I had the wonderful experience of being the Event Manager at Skylarks Hidden Café. I have had many years in the Event industry and over 20 years in the restaurant industry. This experience has really helped me not only build connections with clients, but it’s really taught me the importance of asking the right questions to be able to provide the best experience possible.
In 2016 we bought our first home in Pennsylvania and currently use it as an Airbnb rental. Before we bought, I really didn’t know if buying a home was ever going to be a realistic and attainable goal for me. A lot of the things that I thought I knew about real estate were incorrect. Calling a lender and a real estate agent was one of the single best financial decisions that I have ever made. It gave me an actual game plan and set steps in motion for me to not only become a homeowner, but I now have grown my net worth through the equity in my home.
What makes me successful as a realtor, is my ability to hone in on your individual needs and goals to help you achieve your desired outcome. Buying or selling your home is one of the most important financial, but also emotional decisions that you will ever make. Having a realtor that listens to your needs and makes you feel heard and seen is extremely important. As a realtor I also place a huge importance on my continuing education in the industry, negotiating strategies, and networking with other industry professionals, so that I can provide the best service possible to my clients!
When I am not busy with real estate, you will likely find me at an open mic, whether it’s singing or performing stand-up comedy, I enjoy being active in Bellingham’s Local Arts Scene. I have always had a passion for performing and have a degree in theater and a music minor from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I am also a lover of food, and enjoy cooking, farmer’s markets, traveling, and experiencing different cuisines. We love exploring all the beautiful trails and neighborhoods that Bellingham has to offer. In 2022 we adopted our first dog “Lala”. She is a Chihuahua mix rescue from Texas. She loves going on walks and adventures with us, and is the sweetest, most loving addition to our family. We look forward to many more years here in Bellingham!
